Purpose :
ALIS is a non-profit organisation with the aim of collecting, administering and distributing any fees from secondary uses of literary works protected by copyright law when the author/translator is resident in Sweden.

Members :
The Swedish Writers Union (Sveriges Författarförbund), the Association of Authors of Educational Material (Läromedelsförfattarnas Förening), the Swedish Union of Journalists (Journalistförbundet), the Swedish Playwrights Union (Sveriges Dramatikerförbund) and some 3 500 individual authors/translators.
