The draft report on the implementation of the EU Information Society Directive 2001/29/EC, drafted by Julia Reda, Member of the European Parliament, has been published on her website, together with a list of amendments tabled to it. The report will be presented on 20 January 2015 to the European Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee (the meeting will be streamed). The discussions on this report are taking place in the context of the European Parliament’s own assessment of the current EU copyright law. If adopted, the report will not be legally binding for EU Member States.
