In her current consultancy role she has worked on a number of strategic developments, including the development of the Primo Central Index. Her interest in opportunities that open up with the central indexing of content from diverse sources, and her concerns to remove barriers to success of the new genre library discovery service, led her to initiate the Open Discovery Initiative (ODI) together with her colleague, Oren Beit-Arie, and Marshall Breeding of Vanderbilt University. ODI is now a NISO workgroup of which she is co-chair together with Marshall Breeding.
